Corset making on a budgetAs we all know, making a corset can cost a decent chunk of change. Between your fabric, boning, and various hardware, you can easily spend a good $50-100+. HOWEVER, there are ways to cut your costs and still have an amazing corset. Here are a few ways that you can cut down on your costs:

Use Zip Ties instead of steel boning. I will be making a tutorial in the near future of what to do if you would like to use zip ties

Upcycle your old jeans/khakis to use as your interfacing. Duck Canvas can get pricy, and you can pick up pants for cheap at places like Goodwill and Salvation Army for cheap.

Upcycle your old clothing to make a corset out of. You can again, also go to places like Goodwill and Salvation Army where you can pick up old dress slacks. Depending on the corset you are making, it can take 1-2 pairs. Please note, it is better to buy bigger sized clothing because you can get more out of them.

Sketches: For chibis, $3 for lineart and $5 for colour. Anything else is $7 for lineart and $9 for colours. NOTE, prices can rise due to complexity!

Chibis: Clean lineart is $5, simple shading is $6, full colur is $8

Busts: Lineart for $6, simple shading is $7, and coloured is $9. And maybe it's just me, but I do enjoy seeing art with the rough lines, so if you also like all that jazz, I can give a version with it included.

Below the waist or full body: Lines are $10, simple shading is $12, colour is $15. Once again, prices are subject to change if the request is complicated or very detailed.
